The 2007 Games Express Bus Service
2007, February 2nd:

Piers McDonald, left, president of the 2007 Canada Games, and Whitehorse Mayor Bev Buckway are ready to get on the bus and get in the Games with their new 2007 Games Express Service passes.

The City is offering enhanced transit service during the Games, to make sure volunteers and spectators don’t miss out on any action.

The enhanced bus service will operate from Monday, February 19 to Saturday, March 10. Running on dedicated loops of all Canada Games venues (with the exception of Mt. Sima and Grey Mountain), the bus service will be a fast and convenient way to travel around Whitehorse during the Canada Games.

Games volunteers and visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the bus service, as parking at most venues is extremely limited or completely unavailable.

The 2007 Games Express Bus passes are available at all locations that regularly sell city transit passes and on all City buses. Anyone wearing Games accreditation badges will be able to ride the bus for free.
