Gold in Gymnastics
2007, March 6th:
In the final rotation, Team Quebec came from behind to beat BC and win gold on Tuesday, Day 11.

Quebec
was expected to win because of the number of junior national and senior high-performance athletes on the team, but Brittany Rogers of BC gave them stiff competition.  BC won silver, with Rogers winning the highest individual score of all 74 competitors.  Ontario came in third, only 2.15 points behind Quebec’s winning score.

Saskatchewan won fourth, coming in first in their subdivision.  Their top two teammates, Alexandra Picton and Kim Genereux, won the first- and second-highest individual scores in the subdivision.
