The birdies were flying fast and furious this morning! Team British Columbia finished high in the sky taking all three medals in the double mix badminton competition. Team Ontario dominated in single female, taking both gold and silver.

Two sets of siblings ran away with top medals in the doubles competitions as brothers Francis and Mathieu Laforest (Team Quebec) and sisters Jocelyn and Stephanie Ko (Team Ontario) took gold. Mathieu and Jocelyn also took gold in their respective single competitions.

The team competition later this week promises to be worth watching as all teams have their strengths and strategies that will make the four days full of excitement and energy.
