The test events range from smaller regional competitions to high profile national championships People interested in build volunteer experience will find test events an excellent opportunity to gain new and valuable skill. Working on test events will help people in our community gain the knowledge needed to host a large variety of sporting events, ranging in size and competition level. In many cases, specialized training for officials will be held and experts in the specific sports will be making the trip to Whitehorse, providing opportunities for the development of sport and qualified people in the Yukon.

These are just some of the sports that make up the 2007 Canada Winter Games. Test events are a great way to get involved with sport, see the athletes in action, cheer on local athletes, promote sport in the Yukon, and gain volunteer experience before the 2007 Canada Winter Games begin.
