Communities Catch the Spirit!

Yukon communities have joined the excitement and celebration of the 2007 Canada Winter Games. Since 2006, First Nations governments and rural Yukon municipalities have shown their support for the Games by becoming Canada Games Communities. These communities have captured the Games spirit through events like Canada Games Days in their schools, Torch Relay events, visits from professional athletes and participation in the Adopt-a-Team program.

The Host Society would like to thank all the Canada Games Communities for their involvement and support of the 2007 Canada Winter Games.
